The First Post

The first post to The Abbey Community blog, what should be said. First, who are we?

We are a community of faith seeking to follow the ancient ways of Jesus in a modern context. We seek to be compelled by the love of Christ, led by the Spirit and guided by the scriptures.
Honestly, we are a group of people under construction hoping to shift the idea that church is here to meet our needs to we are here to serve the world and meet the needs of others.
This is a new journey for us and we welcome you to come explore with us.

We meet on Saturday nights a 6pm at 228 Valley Rd. If you have any questions pleas call Gary Swabey at 250-863-4745.
